Sediment movements in Agno intake

The SSIIM model was originally made for modelling sediment movements in intakes, so it is of particular interest we looked at the Agno intake. The data from this intake was collected by HR Wallingford in the early 1990's and used to test the FLUENT model for commputing sediment concentrations.

Sediment concentration in longitudinal profiles

The project is carried out as a study for the MSc thesis of Nasib Man Pradan, under the supervision of Nils Rüther and Nils Reidar B. Olsen. We would also like to acknowledge the kind help from Edmund Atkinson, Phillip Lawrence and Manuela Escarameia at Hydraulic Research Wallingford Ltd in providing data for the study.
